Comparison:
As you can see. Both Magazines are laid out in a similar style. Both have mastheads and banners in the same place. They both use puffs but follow different colour schemes for variety. The differences between the magazines are that the BBC History Magazine is seemed to be focused on a particular person (Winston Churchill) and the BBC Countryfile magazine is focused on the environment showing that it is meant to draw in 2 different types of audiences to each magazine.
There are a few things that show purpose in the magazines.

FINAL Front Cover
This was decided for the final front cover of the magazine because is is laid out in a very tidy and compressed way that doesn't cover the main part of the image (Tim Middleton). It is also viewable to the reader and it isn't hard for the reader to see the text on the cover.
This was decided for the final contents page because it is easy for the reader to see and the colour scheme is simple and matches the house colours within the school and the colours of the school logo and the school site page.
PEER Front CoverMagazine PEER Designs
Our original front cover was different because we had a 2 side 3rd instead of a Mast Head. It was an idea for us to change because it didn't fit very well on the side and it wasnt very eye catching.
PEER Contents Page
The background on this has no relation to the magazine and it isnt very clear to see the photo anyway. This was changed so that the viewer was able to see the photo and the text clearly.
